Office! If you did not receive a blank report form in your
VBS kit then you can either download from the Lifeway website, GBC
website, or come by the Association Office and pick one up or one can
be mailed to you. |

BROTHERHOOD will be meeting at Hatley Baptist Church. It will
begin with a meal at 6:30 p.m. followed by Brother James Spires as the
guest speaker and Mrs. Brenda Brown will provide the special music. 8/9: PASTORS FELLOWSHIP MEETING at 10:30 a.m. Steve Parr, GBC Sunday School Director, will be the guest speaker. Lunch will be served after the meeting. 8/16: EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING at 7:00 P.M. at the Association Office. 8/21: ASSOCIATION WMU LUNCHEON at Bethel Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. Guest Speaker is Gail Silver, 1st Vice President of GA WMU. All WMU members are invited. |

HOUSTON CAMP
We
ask you to continue to pray for the Houston Baptist Camp. We
had
the largest increase in children this year and many decisions were made
with 1 baptism in the pool!
We praise you and your church for all of your support whether it was your time, food, money for the meals or scholarships. Everything was truly needed and we appreciate it very much. We also thank the directors, counselors, pastors, nurses, and lifeguard for their leadership.

CENTER NEWS
A large
selection of cassette tapes by Dr Criswell, Dr Adrian Roger and others
have been donated by Rev. James Bryant. These tapes deal with various
books of the Bible providing good information on Bible scripture and
background information for sermons.
Tapes
and many other excellent
materials are available for check out.
The Media Center is open Monday thru Thursday from 9:00 am till 3:00 pm. Staff members available Tuesday but materials may be checked out any day.

8/1-8/4: REVIVAL at Lake Blackshear Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Phil Garrett and the evening services at 7:00 p.m.
8/2–8/6: REVIVAL at Omar Heights Baptist Church at 7:30 p.m. with Reverend James Bryan.
8/8-8/11: REVIVAL at Antioch Baptist Church with Reverend J. E. Harris. Sunday at 11:00 a.m. & 6:30 p.m. and Monday –Weds. at 7:00 p.m.
8/8- 8/11: REVIVAL at Hatley Baptist Church with Guest Speaker Reverend Clyde Evans. Services are Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Nursery will be provided.
